About Us

Shortway Sports is an independent sporting academy which specialises in senior and youth soccer development.

Located within the southwest of England, we have enjoyed successful partnerships with a large number of community organisations such as the Somerset Community School Centre and local football clubs within Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire football leagues. In addition to this we have over 6 years experience of coaching and providing training solutions to a variety of age groups - this ranges from youths aged 6+ for seasonal soccer schools, to squads of adults.

What We Do

Specialising in various coaching drills, fitness training and circuits, we aim to provide senior and youth players of all levels the tools to improve on their knowledge of the beautiful game, as well as the opportunity for individuals to build upon their technical ability and provide enjoyable, purposeful sessions and forward thinking techniques to enhance individual and team performance.

We are proud to announce that our coaches have passed FA courses and hold the relevant FA Coaching Certificates. All coaches are Fully CRB cleared and have attended the necessary Child Protection and best practice work shops. All coaches have also passed the Laws of the Game Examination. Safety is something we are very insistent on, and therefore all coaches are first aid trained.
